EDUCATION

Mr. Penn earned his J.D. with honors in 2003 from the University of Maryland School of Law. Mr. Penn graduated ranked 2nd in his law school class and was elected to the Order of the Coif.

Mr. Penn also served as an Associate Editor on the editorial board of the Maryland Law Review. Mr. Penn earned numerous awards and distinctions during his law school career, including the John L. Thomas Prize and the Calvin W. Chesnut Prize. Mr. Penn Earned his B.A. degree in 2000 from UMBC where he graduated in the top 10% of his class.

PROFESSIONAL

Mr. Penn began his professional career at Venable, LLP, one of the top law firms in the mid-Atlantic region. Mr. Penn was an Associate in the Products Liability practice group at Venable. After Venable, Mr. Penn worked as an associate at Ballard Spahr LLP and the as in-house Claims Counsel for the National Service Group at Old Republic National Title Insurance Co.

After leaving Old Republic, Mr. Penn was the Managing Partner at Yungmann, Madden & Penn LLP, where his practice focused on real estate title litigation, consumer finance litigation, and personal injury cases. Mr. Penn also has extensive experience with bankruptcy and consumer financial matters. He has handled over 250 bankruptcy cases for both individuals and businesses.

Mr. Penn has extensive experience in the field of personal injury litigation, including medical malpractice, products liability, and premises liability. He currently focuses his practice on representing plaintiffs in tort cases and handling consumer bankruptcies.
